I am embarking on a DIY Hammock making journey this weekend. Your tutorial is exceptional and has given me the inspiration I need.

That is a really high tech ,high maths approach to hammocking.

Me-i just bought sone upholstery cotton 14' long,knotted the ends and wacked a friction device on each end.

I only use this at the beach or in town whete i drive to.

The cotton is way warmer than synthetics but about 25 times heavier.

I dont even seam the edges.

Thanks so much for all of the MYOG tutorials. It’s become my new obsession. I was wondering if anyone has attempted to incorporate the foot box and knotty mod into the super nova design and if so, how how should the bug net be dealt with?
