Nice! How are the skeeters in that area. The last time I camped at LBTL I was eaten alive in early May. It's a nice area to have a walk in the woods.

No problem with skeeters last night.... however come mid May they are typically pretty bad. Permethrin treated Hammock, clothing and gear does help tremendously.

We're having a discussion on another thread about the Spindrift and mosquitoes. How do you handle the summer mosquito season? Do you still use the Spindrift or leave it home and just go bugnet only?

Bugnet only in Summer. I treat the entire hammock and bugnet with permethrin. IME it does great job repelling skeeters. I would think treating the Spindrift with permethrin would be helpful as well.

It is simple to use the Netted RR and the Spindrift. Take a look at Tinnys (Mini Bull Designs) video on the RR I think there were two parts to the video, in the second he figures out how to use the RR netting with the Spindrift. It is easy to use the Spindrift with the netted RR once you figure it out.
I unable to do a link from my cell phone.

It's not so much a question about using the netted Ridgerunner with the Spindrift. I understand that the magicians at Warbonnet even added some small metal rings internally on the Spindrift to which the bugnet can attach and then the bungees can attach to the top corners of the Spindrift to pull everything up and tight (like it does with just the bugnet alone). The idea I was proposing on the other thread (sorry Skinnerback for spilling over to yours but actually since you are using a Spindrift it actually kinda fits right in) is a Ridgerunner like Dutch's new Chameleon with multi-modes of adaptability. Zip off bug net, top cover or net less mode. It's like three hammocks in one!
