Easter with a twist. Egg hunt in Sweden

It began with a Easter hunt and ended up with a new favorite place to hang. This year I decided to surprise my son with a real egg hunt in the woods and went away to hide some stuff .To my surprise I found really nice place nearby my home and instead of hiding eggs I ended up scouting for a nice hammock place.

We combined the treasure hunt with some fishing and a family dinner. In the end..the family went home and dad got a very nice night alone :-)

That place looks amazing! Wonderful find, especially right close to home.

Nice pictures. However, it looks like something I'd see if I was to wander over toward the northwest coast of the USA...wet and rainy???

It's very cold during winter but quite humid during summer..but the last 10 year the weather has changed a lot and now days it is only cold during one or two month..We have a few woods left that are really old but this rather young..The oak however must be rather old (it was dead and had been for a while). They started to grow spurce and pine in this area during year 1750-1800..Before that we only had oak and beech in this part of Sweden.

Took a quick tent trip with my son in the same wood this weekend.
