    OH>May 2017 Trips Planning Thread

Time to start thinking about next month's hangs! Now that winter's over, we can start paring our weights down a bit and do a some longer hikes. Last month, there were hangs at Shawnee, Wildcat and Archers and a few out of state trips. Let's see what we can do in May.

    Xtrm TJ ? ? ? ? Injured. Maybe a short walk in?
    XheartlikeagunO ? ? ? ? Watching

Let us know your availability for group hangs and also suggestions for locations.

I'd also like to offer a special invitation to families, noobs, lurkers and anyone who would hasn't been to a hang and would like to see other setups, swap ideas and share techniques. If you're interested, please speak up and let's get out there!

I should be good for any weekend except the 19th (I'll be at the Dayton Hamvention that weekend). Still need to get my kayaks registered, but once I do, a river trip might be in order!

LOL. If you're calling me a kid, you better be in your 80s! Looking forward to seeing you at one of our hangs!

I am thinking about hitting Zaleski this weekend (the 6th). I haven't done the upper loop so I was thinking about hitting that and staying at site 3. According to the map, it should be about 11.2 miles total.

I was planning on getting there about noon on Sat and hiking to site 3. Then back out Sun morning. I am not in the best shape, so I am taking a nice leasurely pace lol.

I like the idea of a leisurely pace! LOL. Not sure yet if a Saturday-Sunday is going to work, but let me check with a few minor commitments. Anyone else have any thoughts on trips? If I can't do this coming weekend and we don't have other thoughts, I may just do Mohican on the next weekend. Just a nice relaxing hang.
