Ever hang Yellowstone Lamar river trail to Wapiti Lake?

In September, two of my friends and I are going to Yellowstone to hike the Lamar River Trail to Mist pass, Wapiti Lake trail. I've become quite accustomed to hanging in my hammock. My back just can't take ground dwelling anymore. So my question to all of you is whether anyone has hung in that area? I'm apprehensive due to my city *** being scared of waking to a large bear-like nose in my face. We will be observing proper bear precautions.
So has anyone hung in that area before?
    Thanks for any responses.

I have not hung on that specific trail, but have hung many places around the park including Lamar Valley and have always found it very enjoyable. As long as you are following bear precautions, you should be in great shape.

Just like Alamosa above me I haven't hung in that specific area but I do know Yellowstone to be hanger-friendly. I'll be doing a 6 day backpacking trip in the Wind River Range this September and sadly I won't be able to hang there, especially as part of a group.

Trip is open to anyone, if anyone is interested

Thanks y'all. It's good to hear that people hang around those parts. I'm very excited to go, and knowing that I can hang makes it that much better.

Careful out there! The Lamar Valley is prime grizzly habitat, saw one while fly fishing.

I have camped and fly fished there multiple times. Just be aware, store food appropriately and, without trying to cause too much fear, carry bear spray. It is, in my opinion, the best part/portion of the park.
