    Suspension question

I'm going to take the plunge and order a Blackbird and give this hammock thing a try.

Before I place my order I've got to decide between between line/tree strap suspension or adjustable webbing suspension.

Is one better than the other? What are the pros and cons of each?

The video on Brandons site pretty much shows it all. That said, both of mine have the webbing.
It's only an addiction if you're trying to quit

If you're a gram weenie and don't mind a little extra work, go for the line/strap setup. If you're all about ease of use and don't mind a few extra ounces (literally only a few) go for the adjustable webbing. I've got the adjustable webbing and between it and the bishop bag, it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOO easy to setup.

For what it's worth, I ordered both the rope and the webbing suspension with my WBBB. I've used both and actually preferred the rope...less weight, less bulk, and only a tiny bit more "fiddly" to adjust.

I've since replaced both options with Whoopie Slings....lighter and simpler on all counts.

Went webbing, but eventually changed to whoopies for all the reasons listed by Beep.

It should be stickied in the suspension section if you need to find out more about whoopie slings or how to use/make them.
