JRB Bridge post Prof. Griz's weight watcher program...

Four nights in a hammock this week but yesterday's was in the Bridge hammock that Griz modded for me. I used a MW4 (still amazed at how this quilt perfectly matches with the JRB Bridge hammock-like they were made for each other) on the bottom, Nunatak Arc Alpinist on top---I was naked except for a rabbit fur trapper hat...temp 26F.
But the story here is the UCR Griz subbed out for the OEM straps. If you remember his video (and who could not!) then you know substantial savings were made weight-wise, but what about use?
I set up a marlin spike hitch, attached the ends of the UCR, dialed in 'level' in about 5 seconds on each end, pulled the prussic adjusted clips (designed to keep a little tension on the UCR) and plopped slowly in. No sag, no creep!
Thanks Griz again for your brilliance!

What tarp did you use? I have a bridge with amsteel suspension but the tarp ends up being my issue when trying to save weight and still cover the bridge

I think the warm-up we gave MedicineMan at UWharrie, by nesting his Wallcreeper around his hammock, inside his PeaPod, must have kept him cozy for days!
