I buy Martin's 10% Permethrin from allbugsout.com for around $20 for a 32 oz bottle with free shipping.

Martin's 10% for me. I do cloths minus underwear and hammock, hat and bug net but not tarp.
If the minds of living beings are impure, their land is also impure, but if their minds are pure, so is their land. There are not two lands, pure or impure in themselves. The difference lies solely in the good or evil of our minds.

And that is in fact the Water based version right? Just asking because of the Yellow tint.

Yes...the Martins 10 is not petroleum based. Here's a bit more info.

I've been using the spray for years. It truly gives me peace of mind while in the woods. In fact, I found 5 ticks on my pants today after a short hike. Thankfully, the Permethrin was successful.

I use the Martins 36%. One bottle of concentrate lasts me for 2 years treating all my outside clothing, dogs fur, sleeping bags, trailer in the woods and family gear. I go once a month to our property and it is thick with Lone Star Ticks in the leaves and chiggers in the grass. Since I started using it, I've never been bitten by a tick or chigger. Found many dead ticks in dog's hair and on my pants but nothing that was still alive.

I fear the outcome of tick bites a lot more than slight exposure to highly dilute dried petroleum solution. Having had RMSF once and that bite site still itches 7 years later, I prefer not to experience it again or worse.

I treat my all my clothes, hammock and net, and pack. In the past year that I've been using it, I haven't had one tick actually latch on me or even really deal with no-seeums. I prefer Permethrin any day of the week compared to deet. IMO
