I am new to hanging and was wondering if there are any south Alabama (or anywhere in Alabama) hangs that may be happening soon. I am anxiously awaiting my first hammock...a WBBB 1.1 DL.
Thanks,
Chris

There haven't been many in south AL, but there have been a bunch of hangs in central and north AL, including Sipsey hike/hangs, Pinhoti Trail hikes, Bankhead Area kayaking, Tallapoosa and Coosa kayaking, etc. Just watch the trip planning forum for details. The next one will likely be a Pinhoti Trail hike.
Several AL trip reports from the last year - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, etc...

I recall one last year I believe around the Pigeon Creek area just north of Red Level.
Hi Chris,
I hang in Conecuh National Forest and Little River State Forest several times each year.
My hang is a Clark NA. Brewton is my base.
