    Hey Harry,

We don't usually do repairs as we are pretty flat out but since you are in Tassie we are happy to have a look at it. Brandon makes a very good product so it's hard to say why that has happened without looking at it first hand, as I am not sure how they construct their hammocks, but it looks like the fabric has ripped out from the binding tape.

    We are based in Deloraine.

    Talk soon.

Maybe it is a defect or something along that line. I do know that Warbonnet has a particular way of wrapping his Blackbird. Mine was not the same when I took it apart.
Warbonnet graciously repaired it for me.

Did you change out your whoopies? If you did, the re-work did not get performed properly.

Your whoopie should be wrapped/larksheaded around the bundled fabric. Then the ridgeline should be prussicked to the whoopie, with that little loop from the net tucked in there.. The rl knot should be inside the hammock, hidden in the bundle. The rl goes thru the hole of the bundle.

I would think that since the hammock performed properly prior... that during packing the hammock away , the rl/whoopie loosened and became undone. Then when you sat down the rl was the only connecting point end to end.

    Edit add video. Thanks Stu!
