Jon Mac, is your hammock 10 foot 6 inches by 6 foot 6 inches?
I'm short--five foot eight. And I enjoy a 12x6 hammock. It ain't for everybody--it just might be for you. Only problems are needed larger bugnet and larger tarp--I choose a 13ridgeline by 12wide.
Could get by with a 12ridgeline if tarp has doors.
All this is my best guess--and you might do anything or none of the above!
