CountryRoads, I was at the NEHHA Spring Hang. Other than that, not sure we have met yet! You shall be forced to meet me and my family though in just a little over a week. Lol! We will be the ones in the pink kayak and the red canoe, pulling in with the big silver F250 with Wild Cherry Woodworks all over it. Sort of can't miss us. I'll bring an extra tenkara rod if anyone wants to fish with one. I do not claim to have any idea what I am doing, other than being the one who made the fancy wood grips for the rods!
I am not sure when Jeremy will be up yet but I will ask him. Hopefully he can head up early and be there to help folks out.

The extra one I may have is only 10' long. I forget what you drive, but it fit in my Fit without much hassle. Of course the front seat was down and it hung out the hatchback, but I probably could have had someone sitting in the back.
I'm probably about 10 miles from Bryan (unless he's leaving from somewhere else???).
Keep it in mind in case you are desperate. Sounds like it is swimmable if all else fails
Laura
That might be nice to have someone essentially "claim" the area Thursday night!
I was considering towing my daughter's little skiff behind us for people's gear but I need to see if it needs repair and if I can fit it in my truck.

Thanks Laura, with all our gear I don't think I could get it inside my car and I think it would be a real pain trying to strap a kayak on top. Thanks for the offer though. Hopefully there will be enough to get us across.
And don't forget beer can popped corn! I said hi to a lot of people but didn't ask many people their HF handle. Hopefully Bryan and I will make it up to ME!
Oh yes! The beer can popcorn!

You can get a cartop kayak kit at Ocean State Job Lot for about $20...
There is also an extra kayak at the camp as well as the canoe, and that ride is only about 10 miles [and on the way]. We should be able to work out the logiz with as few folks as there will be.
Laura~~ I am happy to go across on Thursday, or there is a bunk inside and a tree pair right at the camp.
I plan on being up by early afternoon Thurs.
