Ted mentioned to me a while back that he might have a couple extra boats. There's a chance I might also have access to an extra kayak (but no paddle). I don't think I'd have a way to get the extra all the way up to Maine but could probably get it over to Bryan's.

This is a 400 mile 6.5+ hr ride on our bikes. Amanda has to work on Friday, she may not be able to join usbut I still want to go.
It appears that my new hammock has shipped so I may bring my current WBBB1.1DBL if anyone is interested in purchasing it at the hang.

[I am off in Carolina with the Rev.elfLiza for the last-and-next week, so I have not been checking in.]
Just before I left though, I talked to my friend from the CommDev committee up there, and he verified that all I have to do is go to the firewarden's kiosk [don't ask] and fill out the fire permit. This gives us "dibz"...

AS to the boats...
I have an two extra kayaks there, as well as my canoe.
[Hopefully....] we can tow a canoe back [either way] empty with the skiff.
It's only 600-800 yards straight across. Barring really high winds, it's a piece of cake.
I am fully confident that we can work out whatever to get everybody and the gear across.
Just start praying for great weather!
