I use this. Works well for me. It doesn't fold, but I've always found a place for it.

Buy from arrowhead-equipment.com, buy REI's inflatable sitpad, or cut your own from a CCF mat from Wallyworld.

+1 on the WW Blue CCF... you can contour cut it to fit just like you want.
I fit mine to my mini-chair, and it does double duty. I also put a chunk of old Mylar emergency blanket on it with spray adhesive.

Gossamer Gear's pads seem to be popular on the trail. Very lightweight and get the job done.

DUmb question maybe:

for those that use a footpad, do you have full length UQ?

or maybe a better way of putting it; if you have a full length UQ, do you still feel like you need a footpad?
