    Simply Light Designs

I needed a tarp and I needed it in short order. Just for fun I needed it in a custom color. The tarp was for my son's first hang with the Cub Scouts. I contacted Simply Light Designs just two weeks before the trip and Jared made it happen, he was awesome. From ordering fabric in a color he didn't have to shipping with plenty of time to get her before the trip the experience couldn't have been better. I know there are many good people in the hammock industry, but anyone not wanting to make their own tarp I can highly recommend this shop. I make my own hammocks, but when it comes to needing something to keep me out of the elements I needed to go with a pro.

You assigned the tarp a gender, but not a name. Get your son on that ASAP. Any good tarp or WWII bomber should get a name.

SLD has some nice gear and Jared is awesome to work with. I'm very happy with hammocks, tarps and especially the great customer service from Jared.

Because of Jared, I'm being forced to sell all of my Warbonnet gear. Apparently my wife doesn't want me to have 5 different hammock rigs. If I have to choose, I'm choosing SLD.

I too have nothing but the highest regards for Jarred. His work is excellent and he's about the fastest vendor in the business.

I recently decided I needed a wider all-weather tarp for my Amok 90* hammock and had heard that Jared had a good one. My warbonnet superfly is pretty good but just not wide enough to keep my feet dry in the downpour I tested it in a couple nights ago near Boston. Great tarp but I will keep it with my WB BB. I was unsure of how to proceed so I emailed SLD and got a response within hours. Since then have been involved in an email dialogue with Jared about options and optimizing. He's been great and will soon have my order. The consensus from what I've read is that his quality is close to legendary.

Had my first experience / order from SLD last week -- impressed to say the least.. Jared was lightning quick with his communication. I'll definitely be ordering from them in the near future.
