There are very few cuban custom professional manufacturers in the EU the demand is not high enough, there are some non professional like hobbist, and small companies that make the one off now and again

But where ever you look the price will always be cheaper to import directly.

I have made quite a lot of cuban gear, but cant beat a US pre made one i would charge a lot more as you have to import small volumes, and they can buy in bulk locally so always much cheaper.

Are you certain? Cuben doesn't seem to cost more from extremetextiles in Germany than from rsbtr for instance

Well from extremtextil is about £35 per meter for a 11ft/12ft tarp you will need 8m (including rienforcement patches) thats £272 plus bonding tape at £38 a roll plus some hardware say £10 plus cord say £6 so total cost materials is £326 thats $425 plus delivery charges and labour plus profit on top.

You can buy a HG tarp for $295 even with vat and delivery its still a lot cheaper.

Now that just plain frustrating. But thank you for doing the math. I guess HG (and other big consumers of cuben fiber) buy in such quantities that it's quite a lot cheaper than what RSBTR and Extremetextiles can sell it to consumers for.
