Anyone in the 350lbs range using a TurtleDog Stand?

Years ago I built a 2x4 hammock stand. It's a pain to move around, on/off the porch, so I'd like to try a TurtleDog Stand. I'm 325lbs and after looking through the huge TurtleDog thread, I couldn't find much info for us heavy guys. So, anyone in the 350lb range using one without issue?

I've done myself (250-ish) plus my oldest (~65-70)...it held us, but I didn't push it by wiggling or swinging...and it was only for about 5 minutes or so. My stand is made with the typical 2x2 pine and 10"hinge...and the 10' fence top rail.

350 and i made one out of 2x2 and 1 inch emt conduit. Bound with 550 cord held up well till i decided to take it apart in favor of trees outside.

Yep. 360lbs. I used 2x3 lumber. Over a dozen sleeps and no concerns. No cracking sounds. No flex.

I believe 2x2 would work as well.

I going to be trying 1.5" galvanized fence pipe in a few weeks. I'm not expecting problems. I'll be happy to report back to you.

Btw, i used 200lb test utility rope with no problem simply by making sure there are several wraps anywhere i think the rope needs it. 550 paracord would be an improvement for me.

Thanks for the info. Still haven't decided if I'll try the fence top rail or go for something a little stronger.

    I'm 250+ I made mine with 2x3 and 1.25/ .120 wall DOM. (Car roll cage) I would expect it hold 400lbs +/-
