30th is preferable for me, I am about to ship my hammock back to jared to repair the bug net I ripped last weekend. Are we thinking 1 night or 2? I am fine with either, just effects what food I bring.

I am heading down to RRG with the wife next weekend, so I am out. I am thinking about trying to hit Mohican today just for a quick overnight.

Kaos is up for the 30th, no takers (so far) for the earlier weekend. I typically do 1 night, just because of home duties, but there's nothing to keep you from staying the next night!

@1LongShot- Fire ring is provided. Wood typically is scavenged from what is on the ground, although it is possible to haul it in. No water at the north sites, but the south sites are near a river, so filtering is the way to go. The hike in from the lot for site 9 is less than a half mile, site 10 is less than a mile, so making 2 trips is not unheard of. When I'm in the north sites, I usually leave 3 gallons in the Jeep for emergencies and just carry in a couple liters. Meals are your choice. I bring meals I dehydrate myself, usually, but guys often bring in cast iron skillets and do "real" cooking. Of course, last month, the guys that I shared the site with brought in their own roadkill! So, whatever sounds good to you is what you should bring! Any other questions, just ask! In this weather, expect to deal with bugs, raccoons and poison ivy.

General note, the road from 97 through the covered bridge to the registration site is now reopened. The road to the north lot is a bit rough from run off, but should be okay for most cars.

So, who else and what weekend?

Put me as tentative for the 30th. Probably just Saturday night, unless I can manage to leave from work Friday. I need to get out.

@1longshot, hope things work out for the best. Good luck.

Looks like we have a plan. Mohican on the 30th. If any one needs it, I can post maps and info. The site we get will be determined by what's available. Typical procedure for us is to write a big "HF" by your name when you sign in, so that those following will know where to go. We can work out details as needed!
