It made me smile when I saw Robert (Rilmoigan) in the video. I had noticed he updated his profile to show ME as his location some time after MAHHA.

A good time to mention. I bought a Bongo set up from him and had trouble with it leaking at the fuel bottle. Mentioned it to him, he gave me a ration (I think that normal for people back east with people out west--envy, I suppose) and then...
He sent me a new and improved replacement, free of charge.
A good man, and I'll treat him to a mulligan stew with Tabasco anytime he ventures west. Thanks, Tinny.
Yes, well, I went over to Tinny's (www.minibulldesign.com - terrific alcohol stoves -right, Shug?) yesterday to do a little showshoeing, mess about with and talk hammocks, and other random nonsense.
One small problem; when we get together we get so into talking and hijinks that stuff like shooting much video kinda gets forgotten. So what we have is two videos; one brief, and one extremely brief.
We hung a Hennessy exped 2.5 w/ 2Q ZQ #2 mod and fitted with a JRB Winter Nest UnderQuilt and an ORM TopQuilt on the right and a Warbonnet Blackbird DL 1.1 on the left. The tarp over the Warbonnet is a Superfly rigged with Opie's beautiful adjustable ridgeline system and Self-Tensioning tie-outs. Unfortunately, it was impossible to get the tie-outs set up with 4-plus feet of fluffy show and no snow stakes. This was to get Tinny up to speed on the more recent additions to making hammocking a more comfortable 4-season option for backpacking. Tinny has what appears to be a (relatively) ancient Hennessy Expedition which was used with it's stock tarp during a severe rainstorm. I think there may have been some psychological scarring from that experience.
So we have Tinny's bit o' video in which you get to see yours truly rigged for a day outing, as well as on my butt in the snow. Of course, Tinny had to take a picture BEFORE giving me a hand up!
All-in-all, it was the usual great time when we get together. The "moment of zen" remark in my little clip was inspired by the fact that I heard NC Patrick's voice from his Stone Mountain Trip video in my head when I came upon this little stream peeking through the snow.
BTW, we are both in agreement that Shug's fixation *cough* *obsession* *cough* with his Mini-atomic stove may require outside help or, dare I say it, intervention...of some sort.
I have no such problem with my Bongo Pro, no sir!
*ahem*

Still have NO Clue as to how the embed works around here.

Thanks for the tutorial link, AS!
