Hammock Gear Econ vs Loco Libre Saver Habanero

Can you guys help me on the takeaway between these two budget options for under quilts? Here is my very personal takeaway so far. Facts mixed in with my feelings but I would also like to hear your thoughts.

    HG
More interesting non tapered baffle design along edges
    Slightly less down than counterpart
Also slightly cheaper but this may be because of the slightly lower down quantity

    LL
Higher default quantity of down compared to HG with options to overfill
Tapered edge which might be colder at the edges but also looks a little less cool than counterpart

Price wise it seems I can get more overstuff on the LL for the same overall weight which appeals to me as I hate to fuss with fluffing up quilts and I like they to last throughout the years after repeated use. It seems there might be an ever so slight edge on value with LL but with a slightly cooler design on the HG. I'm at odds.

I know these are both excellent companies but can anyone shed some light on your experience with either of these products? How do they hold up? Do they fluff right up? Do they perform to their stated temperature? Can they be pushed past stated temperature?

Just ordered my Saver. I'll give you an update once I have it. I have been waiting for George to release this one. So glad he did.

Since LocoLibre just came out with the Saver series four days ago, I don't think you'll find anyone that has much experience with them.

The edges on the Saver Series Habanero are NOT tapered, but are boxed dual differential construction. The same applies to straight baffled standard Habaneros. All SS Habaneros are straight baffles.

The first of the SS quilts are starting to go out, so keep an eye out for feedback in the weeks to come.

Shorter lead time advantage goes to HG!

Do the SS underquilts come standard with draft collars?

My Sunday night (May 21) order of LL SS changed status today, so hoping it will get here next week. That's pretty darn fast for not pre-made in my book!
