Thanks for yet another great video. When the temps and weather are perfect it's almost spiritual on the trail at times isn't it. Those green insulators are worth some cash in these parts. Thanks for taking us along and what a beautiful area to hang for the night.

A superb backwoods video. Beautiful scenery and, quite clearly, magnificent springtime weather. Really liked the musical soundtrack too! I got one of the very first production Chameleons (#5) and have been spending a lot of time hanging in it this spring. I concur; the design in Hexon 1.6 is super comfortable. Glad to hear you got the restorative time you sought.

Thanks for starting my Memorial Day weekend off right. Saw your post on YouTube then came to the forum to send you a note. Looking forward to part 2. I'm hoping to get out during the next few weeks with my dog, Ben after our granddaughter is born.

Just watched part 2. Great trip. Good advice throughout too. Clothing discussion makes sense. I'm still learning how to manage layers hiking and in camp. I've decided best to always have one more layer of something beyond what I believe I'll need. Last time out I had to loan that spare down layer to a bud who packed too lightly for the cold wind.

It got cold out there in the wind. I wore everything I had and was all good once I donned it. Enjoy your trip.

Good to see you back Shug, I also just returned from a nice get away and I really needed the break just like you mentioned. I have the Superior trail on my list so thanks for showing its beauty.

I feel lucky to have it fairly close to get out onto quickly.

There may have been a fire lookout tower close to the trail years ago. The insulator would have come from the phone line that would have been strung tree to tree along the trail. The lines were taken down once radios became more reliable but the large spike would be an indicator that live trees were used in order to string the copper wire for a phone line.

Now that makes sense. I felt history as I held it.

Looked like a fun trip. I noticed though he's got no arc on that arc blast. You can see 8:30 in the first video. Feeling that nice breeze on your back is great. Don't forget to arc it next time, the arc is awesome on the arc blast.
