Anybody change out the continuous loops on their SLD Trail Lair?

I have an SLD Trail Lair that I bought with continuous loops larksheaded through channel to use with my own suspensions. I want to use it with a cinch buckle suspension I bought from Dutch. My cinch buckles were ordered with continuous loops and were used to replace another suspension. Anyway, I pulled them out and was going to replace the suspension on my Trail Lair with these and, based on how the Trail Lairs ends are sewn, it doesn't appear as though I can attach the cinch buckle continuous loop to the end of the hammock. I can attach continuous loop to continuous loop but I would rather just replace. Based on my description has anybody done this? Thanks in advance.

Can you attach cinch buckles to the existing loops? They are only $5 a set.

When I bought my TL from Jared I added my own continuous loops to attach to my whoopies...I've also gone without the CL and just loop my whoopie through the channel. But, when I've done it, I've always attached a thin wire or piece of zing it to help guide it back through.

Yes. What I would have to do is do a couple of wraps, working out to in and then the final loop around the cinch buckle making the final loop cross over the other loops. I hope that makes sense. I may resort to just that.

I'm assuming it was a very tight fit/turn through the channel? That's where I see the "problem" with mine. The "gathered end" is sewn in to a very tight loop.

It's tight, but just take your time and go easy and work it through the channel.
