    New from Minnesota

Hey all new guy from Minnesota. Currently got an ENO double nest and a ENO jungle nest. First overnight will be this Friday for a gear shakedown. Also just picked up a steel stand for cheap so I can hang in the back yard.

Welcome from Northern Arkansas! The biggest problem I have right now is a burning desire to try out new gear, but a budget that won't alllow more than the 4 setups I already have (my point is that this is addictive). Good luck with your new gear and welcome to the hang!!

All the time. Best to get used to hanging, getting insulation right etc....
Though often folks have trouble sleeping overnight in the backyard. Urban noises.

Welcome, This is a great site to learn from. MN is a great place to hang as well, plenty of trees!

I test in the yard all the time but because I live just inside the town limits the ambient noise means I don't often sleep overnight in the backyard. I have free camping in the national forest 15 minutes from the house so I do all my sleep testing there before heading to the mountains. I will set up at home when I am expecting rain to see how things work in wind and rain though.

Hello from Alabama! No hanging in my back yard, but I have a lake campground 6 miles away I can try things out.
