Mt Baldy? take the lower trail past the Sierra Club hut, plenty of trees down there. There are trees on the approach to Mt San Antonio summit, passed the ski resort.
I'm in East Los Angeles, include me in the fun. I've got a wood shop if you need to rip any lumber. I'm also a kayaker.

I hike up Icehouse Canyon and over to Third Stream Crossing. Lots of hanging over there. Icehouse Canyon is a few minutes drive from the Baldy ski lift parking lot below the Notch. Great area.

Any snow there now?. I caught a glimpse of white on Old Greyback when driving up to Temecula today. First signs of winter around here.
