I'm also trying to see which fabrics people prefer, to order one soon, or a simple diy one before I go all in on a big one.

I love all my Dutchware hammocks, but especially the ones made with Hexon 1.6 Wide and knotty mods. Hexon 2.4 is also great, just wish it was available in wide too.

My only experience is with the Chameleon /Hexon 1.6, which is well designed, meticulously constructed and very comfortable. Dutch's communication and customer service is among the best. So, my opinion is that you can't go wrong with any of his products.

I believe my chameleon is 2.4 . My choice was mainly due to my lack of knowledge of the US measurement system (1.6 would support me more than enough) but I do apreciate that it doesnt stretch like a lightet fabric would (and that the missus can join for an afternoon nap with no fear of sudden groundedness).

I don't know if Dutch sends samples but you might be able to get a better idea of how the fabtics feel.

Hexon 1.6 is my favorite so far, can't wait to try the 1.0.
