    EE Revolt-- Your experiences?

    Hi All,

Newbie here. Just ordered a 20* revolt from Enlightened Equipment. Talked to a couple people who suggested it may be difficult to keep close to the body/hammock and that the suspension is difficult to work with. I did my research, but now I'm having some second thoughts. I know there's a component of personal preference and experience to everything... Perhaps you'd like to share your opinions and experiences with this UQ please? Thanks!

I see this is nearing a month old but I hope I can help ease your mind, I have 3 revolts and they are very good quilts. I work on the premise that 0* means 20*, 20* means 40* etc. I have had my 0* down to about 17*F and was toasty. I have had no problems getting the quilt adjusted correctly once I used it indoors 2 or 3 times to learn how, I was new to hammocks and had never used an under quilt before, I found it to be pretty intuitive.

    hope this helps.

I've had my 20* revolt down to 15* and my 40* down to 35* and was warm each time.
The suspension is as simple as it can be. It works perfect.
My only gripe are those baffles. The down absolutely refuses to stay along the sides. When it's strung up, the long sides that are up, the down constantly falls down so the sides are completely empty every time i pull it out. It's very annoying.
