    Mixing Fabrics....

Working on a project and came up short on material... using Hyper D for the majority of the project. I have some utility grade ripstop, some silpoly in my inventory. The poly might be a little to stretchy, and the utility grade ripstop might have too little stretch when compared to the Hyper D. The project is a hammock with integrated bug net, with end caps to stow the bug net. What issues might I run into if I use Hyper D for the body and the utility grade ripstop for the small end caps?
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

I don't see any issues with using a different fabric for the end caps . Many vendors do this to lower the weight, or use a certain color. FWIW I work for RBTR.

Should be no issue at all. :-)

    Thanks all..

My other option is the end caps in noseeum, which is my Ripstop by The Roll cart. Doubt there is going to be much stress in this area.

If the end caps aren't really weight bearing I think you are going to be fine.
