    Winter Down underquilt

So I've had this down comforter that I have been thinking of making an underquilt out of. Now, I wasn't looking for a light UQ, this is for the winter camp and I will only use it when camping. Now, if I try to figure out the Fill Power of the down, I'd say it's 250-300, so it will be heavy.

I figured out my dementions and cut the fabric last weekend. I got the baffles pinned and that was about it. Today I busted out the sewing machine and sewed it all up and stuffed it.

If this doesn't keep me warm next weekend, hell has frozen over...

BTW-what temp will 6.5in loft get me down too.

That might be the thickest underquilt I've ever seen... You should be warm.

Figure I stuffed a king size comforter into a kids sleeping bag. Didn't want to leave any down over since this is all it was to be used for.

So you're coming to the Colorado hang, then?
