Please do. This was our first meeting with more nationalities than just Germans and Austrians. It's great to meet people from other cultures in such a nice setting.
Yes, it's a fantastic site. Don't get the wrong impression, though: unfortunately places like that are few and far between. That's why I drive 7 hours to hammock meetings there. That might not be a lot to an American, but it's almost another country in Europe! These types of places usually belong to a village and were built by the community for the community. But they are private. In this case, we have good connections to the Ortsvorsteher (I don't think there's a word for that in English - but you could translate it jokingly with "village chief").
I will suggest putting a plaque with "Ehrfürchtiges Feuerstellenhaus" on the fire hut, but we only call it "Grillhütte" (BBQ hut) or - if our chief of firebugs is there - "das Höllenfeuer" (hellfire)
