Hi does anyone recommend the superfly tarp be above or below the ridgeline, what's your choice and why? Cheers guys

Below. Above and water can take a ride on the ridge line right under the tarp.

Either way is fine. Some folks feel like if the tarp is on the RL it may wear but my testing says that's not really an issue as the tarps connect should be pretty static reducing the chance of rubbing. Below will support the tarp a little more so higher winds and or snow load on the tarp will not make it sag as much. But really it's a personal preference thing and does not make much functional difference one way or the other.

Solve the dilemma by not using a continuous ridgline (CRL) at all. Use one line on each end.

This is what I'm planning on doing as well. I've always used the Dutch CRL and my new SF I decided to try separate lines - I'll be testing them for the first time next week.

WB tarps have a cat cut ridgeline. If you run the ridgeline under the tarp, the tarp won't be as tight as it could be. Then there is the issue with water running under the tarp. That's why I won't have any ridgelines under my tarps anymore. Plus I use Stingerz and tie-outs now anyway.
