Pics of my #3 zipper mod

Got all excited when the postman delivered my HH Explorer Deluxe Saturday. I had sent it to 2Q/ZQ for a #3 zipper mod on the left side. Why a #3 mod and why on the left you ask? Well I always use the bug net on this hammock and the left side has a lower 'wall' on the head end making it easier for me to reach out and get something below. And.. I have a left side zip winter sleeping bag. Anyway, the workmanship is outstanding! The zipper looks like it was there from day 1. Opening it up and flipping the netting back makes it much easier to put everything in place and I quickly realized another benefit...it's easy as can be to shake out the interior to remove dirt, rocks, crumbs, etc. This is a great mod and ZQ is an artist with a sewing machine. Thanks 2Q & ZQ!

Thumbs up ZQ's work is amazing

I had my Hennessy Explorer UL and Evader Hammocks done up with the #2 mod. Like you said, the finished product looks like it's stock.

My only thought is ...when does she sleep??

Actually, she gets 8 hrs of sleep in a night, but is indeed busy all day long. The sewing machine's hum is a constant source of "white noise" in our house. Yeah...we even once had a Cockatiel that would mimic the sewing machine sound! That's why I hang in the side yard 150+ days a year...nice and quiet.

I have the #3 on all three of mine,,,, it sure changed my mind about keeping a Hennessy.

And ya'll are right,,, they do wonderful work.

I did try to fold one up nice and neat like she does,,,,, but there was know way,,,,I couldn't even copy that workmanship either.

You are absolutely correct about the outstanding workmanship. She is an artist with a "thread injector"! She saved my HH for me.
