I'm the same way, I love my HG 0°+3 oz UQ/TQ set, XLC + sock and old man winter, but I've got a **** load of Snugpak stuff too. And the One Tigris UQ got me down to the mid teens with warmth to spare. Ill spend the money when I need too on stuff that needs to be bomb proof, like my down quilts, hammock and most of my winter stuff. But if I can get inexpensive gear that truly does hold up and perform to high levels, then I'm all for it like you. Why not right? Just as long as its not presented as high quality, better then cottage made gear, and you understand its limitations from the start. Im starting to get quite the collection, but getting new gear is too fun! Almost as enjoying as hanging itself lol

I'm still building my gear stash. But my Loco Libre Saver Series 20° underquilt just shipped today, and I'm stoked about that! These econ quilts are right up my alley. Fantastic gear and performance, at incredibly low prices. I also ordered a ULA Ohm 2.0 today for my b-day (decided to upgrade my $30 Outdoor Products bag- which is actually really good for what it is). But I'm with ya, if it works for you, then it's a great piece of gear- cottage or not.

I'm suprised at how well my pack has held up. I got one off of Amazon, Wasing I think the brand is. Its from China but it's done great so far. 70L + 10, and all the normal straps and pockets you'd find on any other pack. The straps are a little on the thin side but it works. I'll get a nicer one eventually, but for now this one is just fine.
