HEY Saturday is the first day of May! Will we meet on Saturday and head up to Whatum Lake? Up Eagle creek... And will this be a one day hike up, Saturday night at Whatum and one day back down? Anybody wanting a two day hike up can start Friday morning. The camping area BTW is on the south side of the lake below the steps.

Well i'd like to join in on this one...but, considering i work swing shift which means i would be getting off of work about midnight. It's probably a five hour drive for me. No i don't do morning very well. I think this pretty much rules out me making this one. Perhaps if there is something a little more to the north next time.

I haven't logged onto the Forums for about a half a year. I was pleased to see someone organizing a hang in the NW. I'd be up for it, except that it looks to involve a hike. I'm too gimpy to do any backpacking, but I'm game for a hang at a drive-to location when interest accrues for such an event.
I'd love to make this one. If only I had been a hanger when I did that area on the PCT.
