I've always had an ear for accents & such. Plus, I was a Theatre & Communications Major in College. But I wound up in IT. Life happens.
If you know of anybody in need of an IT architect, planner-type-type that can sound like he's from South London or Manchester, er wherever, point 'em my way.
It's a shame that so many regional dialects and accents are all becoming that 'flat, California standard'. sigh.
So, you know; Shug = ex circus-type, er, performer; Meself, = ex Theatre-geek. er, type ...wait, is there a difference...?

And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it.'
I have heard your confession I know who you blame

Don't bring me the pieces of your shattered cross

Good tip, I didn't realise that they'd go for something like that.

That's 'cuz I'm one meself. Visual learner, that is.
Glad you identified a lot of the individual pieces of gear used.

Actually water tends to draw more warmth to the area, I think.
Any wind that night?
Not so much as a breath of wind.
How much does the 0F army bag weigh---just curious.
I haven't weighed it, but from an UL perspective its a bit heavy, about 3-4 pounds is my rough guess.
MSR snowshoes? Float tail we can't see?
Yep, MSR Denali EVOs (I pay attention when Turk recommends something. I have the tails, (for a 36" length) but didn't really need 'em this time out.
