All, had a great time for my first hang. Even if i did get in a little late Friday night. It was especially nice to finally put a face to the names.

Phantom, thank you for hosting such an enjoyable outing and the food just blew me away. I never would have imagined having such a lavished meal in the woods. Outstanding is the word that comes to mind. To make the meal even better was Hotlips’ aw-inspiring Nutter-Butter Banana Pudding. Hats off to all that cooked and added a little something special to dinner.

The contests and the “Home-a-rama” tour were very fun and informative. After seeing the Grizz Beak and the hot tent, i have a couple thinks to add to Santa’s list. And let me apologize for forgetting names, but the zipper mod the the Fronkey style bug net was just the fix i have been looking for. When you shorten the bottom portion, please post and i will post mine when i finish as well.

All and all, i am looking forward to the next hang. Enjoyed meeting each and everyone of you. Till next Time.

Was tickled how well the Smokehouse Outfitter and the Seek Outside titanium stove worked out. Will definitely use it for my winter/cold weather outings.

I can’t believe I missed this! I guess when you are chasing kids you don’t get time to have a look see. Looks very cool. Do they sell these?

I actually fired it up on Saturday afternoon just to do an initial first burn in the stove. This put a memory in the titanium stovepipe so next time I can roll it by myself. It took 3 people to roll the stove pipe properly this first time. I collected up little twigs and limbs up about an 1 1/2" diameter. Took about 15 min to collect and cut everything about 10" long. I started the fire at 2 pm and just that little bit of wood last 3 hrs. Once I had a good bed of coals and closed down the dampers it burnt nice and slow. The air temp Saturday was in the 50's I would say and the Smokehouse was probably in the 90's. Would have loved for the temp to have been colder but at least I got the initial burn out of the way.
