    WTB: Inexpensive "Starter" underquilt

looking for a used underquilt to get me started. Spent alot on hammock and tarp/necessities (cord, biners, stakes) and whatnot. Funds are starting to run low and need an underquilt. Suggestions/used quilts for sale?

IIRC, the Kick *** Quilts Lost River from Arrowhead Equipment is $125 and is the lowest priced model commercially available.

I made a synthetic (2 layers of 3oz Climashield) UQ. Rectangle, drawcord channels along all four edges. If I remember right, it's 42"x58". I'd call it a 3/4 size - very very warm.

It's a cold weather UQ - as one side is a vapor barrier (this side goes up against the bottom of the hammock),the other side is breathable.

Woodland camo / Coyote brown colors. If interested I can take some pictures when I get home tonight.

Used twice, only in backyard to test. In as new condition.

$65.00 + shipping (I'm saving up for something from "The Perfect Trees")

I apologize for the poor quality images, they were taken with my phone and the coloring is a hair off...should give you the general idea though.

The stuff sack is 10"x15". It can compress a good bit more than that.

The first image shows the bag I made for storage so it's uncompressed. Next shows the breathable layer (coyote brown), then the woodland camo non-breathable, and finally the weight. That weight is w/ suspension (it reads 23.9oz).

Thanks Tom. I hate to see it go... I really like it a lot, but I've got my sights set on a Crowsnest from Stormcrow.

Looks like this item is SOLD.
