    Adjustable ridgeline rings

I recently saw a ridgeline that used a ring for adjusting... does anyone here use that type
Of set up, and if so what level of slippage do you see? Also does it matter the type of rope?

I'm setting up the gf a non structural ridgeline..just to hang some lights and stuff on, I'm using the rope that eno provided, but is generally tied around trees. I'm shortening it and attaching to continuous loops I put on it, will this ring option work or is there a better method?

Well I'm trying to use what I have on hand, also paracord stretches way to much for what I'm looking for

Here ya go. This is probably what you saw.

However, I would advise you to watch a couple of videos on YouTube and learn how to splice. Make an adjustable RL out of 1.75 Zing-It. Much cleaner and easy to adjust. Anyone can splice. It is so easy.
