Received mine yesterday! Love the way it fits! Thanks again Paul!
About to take my RidgeCreek XL on a quick overnight. Lows look to be in the mid 40s, so it should be good sleeping weather. Can't wait to try it out.
Just got my RC XL today as well, fits really well, not sure about the foot end a little bit of a bunch up but may be the way i have the extra RR material laying. The fit is very nice, really liking it so far. Have a mid September BWCA trip coming up so it will get used soon enough.
All set for tonight. Initial test lays were nice and toasty, almost fell asleep before finishing the rest of my set up. It's nice not having to deal with the shock cord of the 3/4 quilt, it doesn't get caught up or tangled in the pack. I might swap out the head biners for a different color to make head end ID a bit easier.
It does look oddly bunched up at the corners with no weight in the hammock. I assume this goes away with weight as I didn't see/feel any on the head end while laying in the hammock.
I like the orange!
Remember--Some People are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them.
Some people can paint the Sistine chapel, some people can finger-paint, and some people just eat the Crayons....
I guess I missed the UQ deal of $75.00, I guess $100 is still a good price
