I'm bringing pie irons for the weekend.
A lotta ins... lotta outs... lotta what-have-you's
I have a friend that wants to come in on Friday. Does anyone have a bow seat available?

That should work just fine. Seat is yours.
We could meet at the access. Hoping to be there around 9 am. I will keep you posted about timing.
Do you have a pfd?

I like metric, I use metric, for those of you who don't ... you should, for those of you who won't ... here.
0*C - 32*F, 10*C - 50*F, 20*C - 68*F, 30*C - 86*F
100g - 3.52oz, 500g - 17.63oz, 1kg - 2.2lbs, 16oz - 1lbs
10cm - 3.9", 1m - 3.28ft, 1km - 0.62mi
The 'Lake Louisa Lollygaggers' are still considering route options, so we haven't booked our permit yet. No worries, there will be five of us & the permit under my name (Jamie Porter ... the permit office can find it by name) can still take another 4 of the incoming 'Marshmallows' to our max of 9. To avoid confusion I'd suggest Iguana's party fill those spots.
As LuvMyBonnet already has a second permit for Thursday-Sunday that can take another 8 folks, he just needs to share either his full name or permit # so they can jump on board.
Anybody coming after the first 18 may have to secure a third permit if the Park is keeping count.
Hope this makes sense.

I threw a new column onto the Google Sheet to indicate which permit to join just as a way of evenly dividing the group. At this point we're at 19! The Park won't allow more than 9 per reservation so anyone above the 18th will need a new permit. If you're sure you can't come, please update the sheet so we can set the mix.
Cheers

Who needs my name and permit #? Give me a PM.
Hanging in the woods, paddlin and catching trout- My kind of living...
Any idea where we're hoping to camp for the weekend part of the trip?
And I'll pick up my own permit. I have no idea what time I'll get in Friday. If I'm paddling in the dark I might just pick my own site and find the crew Saturday morning. Either that or paddle around yelling "whooo buddy" in an annoying version of Marco Polo.
I'm thinking Parkside Bay. Possibly the site Jamie referenced in post #37. I'll most likely be waiting for the group at the portage on Thursday rather than trying to forge on my own. So I probably won't be the decider.
I'll bring my "Whooo Buddy" detector just in case you paddle in at night.
ps- Anyone know of a better spot to put into weather forecast than Huntsville?
Tuning down the kayak weight. Getting rid of most of the heavy luxury items. Still wish I could bring beer.
