Not done any spicing yet
i use Loop aliens and Tato connectors on CRL for my tarp and this works well.
I did a test splice. It is definitely spliceable but it is not as easy as zing-it. The tighter weave means you have to work harder to get the line through itself. Still nice line though. I am happy with it.
Yeh, I played with it very briefly and it is certainly a tighter braid!

Thanks for the feedback!
If your having any trouble splicing it please try this. Use a pull wire, not a fid or needle. And make your taper on the end of the line before pulling through. It's less to pull through and makes splicing much faster. If you do this it's very easy to splice. Best of Luck! Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks
Sounds like something I must try for my Dutch Hooks I am replacing on one end of CRL
Can't wait holding it in my hands to play with.
Omnia vincit lectulus pensilis.
I agree it was a little challanging, but I put that to my first time.
I did my first splice with it and I did not taper before hand
It worked out great
You always should taper when splicing. The weakest point on a line with a splice is where the buried end tapers into the regular line. The more gradual the taper the stronger it will be. That's from the 2nd in command at Yale Cordage here in Maine where they splice like crazy all the time!
