I notice some posts have big pictures and also pictures you don't have to log in to see. Whenever I post pics they are small and you need to be logged in to see them. Is there a setting that controls this? I'd like to be able to post bigger pictures and have them available to everyone, logged in or not.
You will have to host your pictures on a image web site like Flickr and others to do this.
I'm not sure about photos hosted off-site but any photo you upload to HF can be displayed large in your post by removing the "thumb" part of the file name. There's a test thread at the top of the Feedback forum for testing things like this.

There is several way to do this.
If I want a large picture only I type the [IMG]link to your photo addy [/IM G]
Like this:
To get the small fingernail photo, you click on to get a larger picture, I use the HammockForums insert picture tool in the edit window tool bar. It is left of the movie clip icon. hth
