Yes I have been over a year out of the bed.... mine is just holding laundry too.... even on a trip to meet up with my parents and visit family, I helped them find hotels and I hung outside and came in for showers and food, best hotel experience I can remember. I have eye bolts up in 2 rooms and my daughter likes it so much she has done the same at her mom's. I just got bored and threw up some spare parts outside so I can spend some nights out and some in..... Its working ok but I still have not found a way to make the grand trunk hammock as comfortable as most my others.

Not long after my HF Join Date, I started sleeping in a hammock nightly. I have been ever since. 2 Dutchware's and an AHE Jarbidge have served me well. I'm on a Pipe-Stand that's wall-to-wall in my room. Wife's disabled w/a bad back, so co-sleeping is out of the question as I tumble around in a bed. I love my hammocks.

And we all know happy wife = happy life lol. That was over a year ago now, and I've since traded the HH for a BBXLC, which I use pretty much exclusively outside, and an 11' argon that I diy'd and use inside. My wife is happy bc she gets more room in the bed + me inside more, and I'm happy because I can actually sleep all night now without feeling like I got hit by a train every morning when I wake up from so many old sports related injuries. I'm now thinking of trying out a super large Myan hammock for indoor hanging to not wear out my Argon 1.6 so quickly.
I tried the indoor Mayan hammock idea but was never as comfortable as with the poly d or hexons I already owned. Something about the cotton just didn't feel right.

Give a man enough ripstop and he'll hang himself.

And a pro tip, unless your roof is leaking you don't need the tarp indoors
A bit of cover indoors can work wonders.

My quilts are 3 season and in the middle of winter I found myself not as warm as I would have liked.
I threw a queen sized blanket over my ridge pole creating a tent effect over my hammock.
It has it's own micro climate that stops the cold descending on you during the night. Super toasty.

New 0 degree quilts will be purchased before next winter but the blanket will be back.

I am on night 3. Best sleep I've had since my last camping trip. Wife isn't trilled either, but her back bothers her in the bed, so she understands. She's not willing to go hammock full time though.

Nap, read, tv, more so on the occasional overnight. Getting comfy on the every day lounging. Let's not tell this to the misses. What's nice is testing winter gear close the vents open the window in January.
