Edit: It looks like people part right on the wolfpen camping area, is that right? could anybody send me a screen shot of exactly where to meet up with everybody? I'm stoked about the trip.

this is car camping and yes you park at wolfpen and it's free so no worry about paying. there is usually a orange sign out by the road that say sipsey hang on it. sorry no picture of the road but there is a sign that says wolfpen camp out by the road, if you are coming from hwy 33 it's on your left

look for this sign (hopefully Dale will have it up):

Eric, were you at Jack Allen Soccer Fields in Decatur today? I took my wife to Caney Creek last week and when she ducked under the gate I told her about when you did the same. I saw you today and I kept thinking you would sit down and I would come over and chat, then you proceeded to go to the opposite end of the complex! I should have hollered out!

I remember that day fun times and yea that was me. I was there watching my nephews playing soccer so I kept going from one field to the next splitting the time between two games. sorry we missed each other.

Did anybody happen to check out Wolfpen this weekend? I checked it out, and it seemed pretty crowded around 2:00 pm on Saturday. I found a spot and the weather was a bit chilly, but nice, and it was pretty peaceful.

There was a pretty large group (tables and tarp cabin? set up) that was gone most of the night and showed back up at 3:00 am. Not really sure what there is to do in the area until 3 in the morning.. 0.o Is that pretty common in Sipsey? They seemed nice enough, but kept to themselves. There were a couple of hammocks set up.

My son's soccer games were rescheduled for that weekend so, unless they reschedule, I plan on coming! I should know for sure by this weekend. Hope to see everyone again if I can make it!
