    Oversize Mesh Pockets

    Hey,

Wondering if anyone has got either or both of the mesh pockets and can provide a review.

I have not, myself. Looks interesting though, and given the way Hennessey designs and builds the rest of their products I'd feel confident that it's well thought out and well manufactured. If you need more storage, then there you go!

I already have specialized ridge pockets that I use a couple of Dutch hooks to secure on the ridge line with. That being said, HH builds good products and if needed them, I would not hesitate to purchase from them.

It definitely seems like a great product. I'm just having a hard time with the $15 shipping from Hennessy on a $10 or $15 product. Hoping to hear some good and bad about this item.

Are there alternatives out there that fit the Hennessy ridgeline?

The material to make mesh ridgeline pockets is super cheap probably $5(USD) total. You can make them similar to the HH. If you don't want to do that I'd try to look around Canada for a place that sells them to avoid international shipping costs. There are lots of ones in the US that will fit the HH but the shipping costs are more than the actual product cost so you run into the same issue you are trying to avoid.

    I agree.
I think it is over priced, and I like the Peak Bags at the head end of hammock, or other ridgeline pocket options much better. The one big pocket with side entry I find is not easy to use.
This is great opportunity to DIY exactly what is best fit.
