Do you find that they run a 1/2 size too small? Just curious, I take a 9 so these won't work for me.

No, I normally wear my size 11 1/2 with thick socks for backpackiing and have plenty room. Thought I could use a 1/2 size smaller with thinner socks for daily wear and save the 11 1/2's for backpacking. That 1/2 size difference was much greater than I expected.

I was reading reviews of this on one of those shoe store sites and many of them said it felt 1/2 size smaller, though most said if felt true to size. I already ordered myself a pair of the lo tops in my regular size so hopefully I won't have to send them back.Originally Posted by millergear
