    Dangerous Hammocker.

What is the silliest or riskiest hammock position(s) you've adopted in your time using hammocks, or witnessed, or heard of? Have you or anyone you've heard of had any hammock-related accidents, injuries, or near-misses?

Haha I should have guessed, this question is tailor-made for the ever talented Shugemery. There's no doubting you are an extremely dangerous hammocker. I should say, "WILLFULLY dangerous!"

Something I've come across in answer to my own question if you don't mind.

It seems we're almost exclusively concerned with the strength of our suspension equipment. However it's also good to give some serious thought to the integrity of our tree, pole, pillar and the integrity of any associated root system or mortar.

Also consider what other things your pole is holding. For example your pole may also be holding up a heavy roof that weights several tonnes. If that pole gives way, you could have the whole roof structure come down on top of you!

The fashion for hammock stacks is fairly irresponsible and impractical.

Whoah I just put "hammock stacks" into google and there is this hammock event where they have a 15-hammock stack. Looks like a massacre waiting to happen!

    jajaja.

I just made a cool connection. Just now I visited The Ultimate Hang website as per your recommendation and see the author is Derek Hansen. And who is the "hammock expert" that featured in the video I included in this thread a bit earlier? Derek Hansen! Connections and alignments are occurring in my universe. I think this calls for a Whoooo Buddy!!!
