    Looks like the many other smallish hammocks on the market. 8' 6" is a really short hammock in today's standards so I'd be afraid it wouldn't be comfortable enough or long enough to get a good diagonal lay.

    watched the video. it's slightly different than typical, but would have to lay on one to see if it's a winner tho

    Not something I would be interested in as I think there would be many better options out there, but so you can read some posts by others and discussion by the vendor during his brief time on the forums..

    There will sum it up better than I could. IIRC the hammock length claim is measuring it on the diagonal, despite how the pictures show it. Ultimately I believe it ended up being around a 10' hammock.
