How are you determining if it has DWR?
Just if it's shiny on BOTH sides?

I just wanted to share this with people who would understand. I just got dirty looks from the person I was with, until I told her the retail price I would have paid if I ordered this stuff online.

It's good to see there are still some fabric departments left with what we need. So when in doubt, stop in and look. Never know what you will find.

That and seeing a bunch of it. If you look really close at untreated the surface looks rough and the edges fray, DWR the edges fray and it is shinney, sil the edges do not fray and it is shinney.

Make sure you look for the box pattern if you want ripstop. I have been seeing a decent ammoun of non-ripstop or taffeta. I am a little fuzzy on the differences.

If you want www.owfinc.com sells fabric samples for cheap that would be a good reference.

    Wal-Mart OD 1.1oz Silnylon

I went to Bentonville today (the home of walmart) and while I was there I talked to the lady who orders their fabric for the Bentonville store. She told me that she would do her best to order a lot of silnylon. I told her the weights and that I prefered OD color. I told her that I would buy all that she can get in, but I will not find out for another 2 weeks (maybe longer). I go to Bentonville every Monday so I will keep yall posted. Oh by the way, I'll share too

    Wal Mart

There are three Wal Marts close to where I live and they all have been providing me with 1.1 ripstop in various colors. Also found some 1.9 oxford as well as 1.9 urathane coated. Didn't think I would ever feel like a kid in a candy store every time I go into their fabric dept.

I would also like to get some sil from you if you have extra. I would be okay with about any color except hunter orange or pink.

I would really like some too, though I do have doubts that you'll actually find OD silnylon.
