    The netless hammock alone weights 900 g.
    My suspension: 600g :
    One 22kn ring (34g), 1 Ti Dutch toggle and 70' of 6mm Warpspeed II Samson rope (7,3g per foot, 5,100 lbs avg strenght) and 3 Dyneema tree huggers of 7 foot each (3.8g / foot ; 3,500 lbs breaking strenght) with pre-installed 3/16 Amsteel soft shackles

    Setup total : 1,5 kg (3,3 lbs)

    Nice setup! I like your suspension rope mod! But I have to disagree with the setting up being difficult. I find it quite easy, actually. Once I find suitable three trees - which do NOT have to be in a perfect triangle: you can adjust the position of the tent to compensate for skewed angles, as long as the anchors are less than 90 degrees from each other. And even then you can use an extra rope or strap as a breast line to pull the suspension line to a more desirable angle - the setup takes anything from 5 to 10 minutes!

    When looking at the original photo, what caught my eye was the UGQ under quilt. I think I might have a problem with priorities.

    Perhaps three Costco Down Throws (CDTs) overlapping in the center for a DIY UQ? Or cut and sewn together. What the story with the burros? Are they your pack stock, free roaming but curious, or belong to someone else but friendly and/or curious? Which ever, they are undoubtedly checking for hand outs.
