I'm just gonna hope for isolated showers and ride the motorcycle.
I'll be leaving in about an hour. And if I wander over some backroads to get there, I should arrive around 4:30 or so.

I took off late yesterday afternoon as the storms moved in. Looks like they were soggy all night but sunshine is headed their way this am. Had a great time. Old&slow, Whitewolf, Fulminated, Ricegravy and I hiked the AT from were it crosses US70/25 over Lovers leap ridge back to camp yesterday about 6mi.

Got a Bit wet but all in all was a great time.

Karen & I got home a few hours ago---now partially unpacked & cleaned up. We did run into Obama traffic on I 240 & I 40 where interchanges were temporarilly closed--lost about an hour of time on the way home.

We greatly enjoyed meeting everyone this weekend. It was nice to see old friends and so many new faces! Satdurday's rains didn't seem to damper the fun as everyone took it in stride. our silent auction took in $400--so thanks to everyone who donated items and especially to those who placed bids. A MO for $400 will be going to HF as soon as I get to town next week.

Our next Hot Springs Campout will be in September--hope to see everyone there. We're not having our usual June Hang as we missed the oppurtunity to reserved the campsite this year. The Speer website will be updated soon with the September information.

I wish that I would have had more time to get to know everyone, but after we hiked 6 miles on the AT I came down with a head cold, took some Benadryl and passed out at 5:50pm Saturday.

Had a great time though and I am looking forward to next years hang!
